Dr. Ch.V. Purushotham Reddy, B.Ed, M.Sc., Ph.D., was Lecturer in Zoology in a Government College before he embarked on establishing Chaitanya College. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Zoology from Kakatiya University in the year 1986. He still continues to do research work and presented his work in national and international seminars held in USA and Australia. He also attended many conferences in the different countries.

The genesis of every premier institution lies in an idea and this is particularly true of our institution. He nurtured this idea with clear-cut goals, hard-work, devotion and vision with quest for excellence. He has become an eminent educationalist over the years. He gives direction to the healthy growth of the colleges and to their diverse academic programmes. Incorporating latest trends in course design, teaching methodologies and practical training while shaping the students as socially responsible and capable young professionals.

He believes that the parents or guardians along with faculty and management should work hand-in-hand to ensure that the collective objective of the students progress is met. Dr. Ch.V. Purushotham Reddy is one of the most famous and eminent personalities of Warangal town with a clarity of vision and mission in his word and deed. In 1991, he started Chaitanya Degree College with a strong and undaunted vision of mind. Soon, he made his vision a reality in less than two decades. He understands well the academic excellence and how it creates a society with full of knowledge and wisdom. He always strives for the overall development of the student that enables him to become multifaceted and takes all the challenges and moulds each of them into a creative and productive activity which finally lead to benefit the student. He accepts all the challenges with equal elan. He is always industrious, zealous, zest and man of integrity.
